Moist Chocolate Cake Recipe

What you need:

  • 1 ½ cups of granulated sugar
  • 250 grams of butter
  • 1 tsp of vanilla essence or vanilla sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 ½ cups of milk

How to do it:

  • In a large mixing bowl, sift the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
  • Let your butter soften and add it to the bowl of the dry ingredients.
  • Whisk the ingredients together and continue stirring until the sugar completely dissolves.
  • Crack open the eggs and add it to the bowl.
  • Continue whisking until the eggs are mixed completely and the mixture starts to turn fluffy.
  • Gradually add the milk while stirring and continue whisking until the mixture is smooth.
  • Take your rice cooker pan and grease the sides and the bottom using some softened butter.
  • Gently pour the chocolate mixture into the pan.
  • Place the pan on the rice cooker and let it cook for 1 hour and 15 mins.
  • Once done, take the pan out and gently scrape the sides of the pan to separate the cake from the pan.
  • Put a plate or a rack on top of the pan and turn it upside down to let the cake simply fall down onto the plate.
  • Top with your toppings of choice such as whipped cream, sprinkles, chocolate frosting, etc.
