What you need:
- 1 ½ cups of granulated sugar
- 250 grams of butter
- 1 tsp of vanilla essence or vanilla sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of cocoa powder
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 ½ cups of milk
How to do it:
- In a large mixing bowl, sift the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
- Let your butter soften and add it to the bowl of the dry ingredients.
- Whisk the ingredients together and continue stirring until the sugar completely dissolves.
- Crack open the eggs and add it to the bowl.
- Continue whisking until the eggs are mixed completely and the mixture starts to turn fluffy.
- Gradually add the milk while stirring and continue whisking until the mixture is smooth.
- Take your rice cooker pan and grease the sides and the bottom using some softened butter.
- Gently pour the chocolate mixture into the pan.
- Place the pan on the rice cooker and let it cook for 1 hour and 15 mins.
- Once done, take the pan out and gently scrape the sides of the pan to separate the cake from the pan.
- Put a plate or a rack on top of the pan and turn it upside down to let the cake simply fall down onto the plate.
- Top with your toppings of choice such as whipped cream, sprinkles, chocolate frosting, etc.
